Pharmintech Exhibition turns the spotlight on technological innovation for the Life Science industry. From April 10 to 12, in Bologna.
The excellence of production technologies for the drug supply chain will return to the forefront while widening the target to segments with strong technical and market affinities, in particular the nutrition, biotechnology, medical devices and personal care products industry.
Pavilions 16 and 21 of BolognaFiere are ready to host over 300 exhibiting companies while over 10.000 visitors are expected, not to mention a growing presence of foreign attendants thanks to numerous promotional actions involving operators from the most important markets in the sector, which have been the targets of a strong incoming activity.
In fact, the key feature of the next edition of Pharmintech Exhibition is the topic of internationalization, a fundamental objective for an event that is currently consolidating its position and putting itself forward as a reference point for suppliers in the EMEA area.
It is worth noting that Italy has gained top position as a pharmaceutical producer in Europe and as such, has recently overtaken Germany with a value of 30 billion Euros (44 billion Euros, if we also consider related industries) and 2.7 billion Euros invested in production, research and development related to activities with a high innovation rate. Such excellent result was made possible also thanks to high quality production technologies that have contributed to the development of a unique know-how at the international level.
Pharmintech ensures adequate visibility and concrete business opportunities for the entire sector and for production excellences while offering an overview of the most advanced solutions for the manufacturing process, wrapping, instrumentation, packaging, plant management and supply chain solutions, and also, digital and automation technologies applied to the sector, from the IoT – Internet of Things up to data governance solutions.
Thanks to Pharmintech, Bologna will see the presence of international buyers, carefully profiled and selected with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development and in collaboration with UCIMA – Union of Italian Constructors of Automatic Wrapping and Packaging Machines, and ITA – Italian Trade Agency. Among the attending delegations, the presence of representatives of Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, India, Israel, Morocco, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Tanzania, Turkey and Uganda is already confirmed. For the 2019 edition, an increase is expected in the number of international operators, with over 100 foreign buyers selected to be part of official delegations.
To offer both visitors and companies a broader, articulated and international perspective over a highly complex scientific and technological sector where data and data analysis make the difference, Pharmintech is introducing Pharmintech Monitor, the Pharmintech Exhibition Observatory.
Thanks to the collaboration with the UCIMA Study Center, a pool of experts and analysts have been analyzing the reference markets for the Life Sciences sector, offering privileged perspectives and vantage points, based on economic data, statistics and sector studies. The new pharmintech.it website offers the opportunity to come into direct contact with the researchers of the UCIMA Study Center for clarification, details and insights related to the published data and the countries being analyzed, as well as giving access to constantly updated content, news and researches.
Thanks to new digital marketing activities, the number of unique users, which have been visiting the website of the event since 2016, has grown to around 50.000, with a steady growth since January 2019.
