Tecam, a leading supplier of environmental technology, announces that it has been awarded a new project for the elimination of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) generated at a pharmaceutical production plant in Slovenia.
Under the terms of the agreement, Tecam will supply this pharma company with the design, assembly, installation and commissioning of one Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) unit to eliminate exhaust airflow coming from their production processes.
RTO technology solution is getting more and more common in industrial sectors, not only in pharmaceutical production. Moreover, it fully complies with BREF recommendations by the European Commission on emissions abatement.
By eliminating high concentrations of VOCs, RTO technology allows to minimize the concentrations of VOCs emitted into the atmosphere, and at its turn comply with all current and most restrictive regulations at an international level.
“The recent award of this project for VOC emissions removal proves the excellent business relationship between Tecam and this customer. It shows how Tecam can support the pharma industry with eliminating their emissions” Tecam CEO Bernat Sala declared. “Environmental technology has proven to be profitable for companies while allowing them to adapt to the strictest environmental legislation. We are at a decisive moment at an environmental level and must take action now”.
Thanks to the elimination of 99.9% of VOC polluting emissions derived from their pharma production processes, this plant is soon becoming a facility with the highest standards of safety, quality and respect for the environment.
