The show opened with an august gathering, featuring prominent figures such as Mr. K. Raja Bhanu, Director General, Pharmexcil; Mr. Harish K. The Pharma Leaders Roundtable was one of the standout events of CPHI & PMEC India 2024, bringing together distinguished leaders for impactful discussions. This exclusive, closed-door forum explored unprecedented opportunities and challenges arising from shifting global supply chain dynamics and evolving manufacturing trends. Key themes included capitalizing on geopolitical shifts, driving technological innovation, addressing infrastructure and regulatory hurdles, advancing drug biotransformation, and fostering sustainability in pharma.
The Pharma Connect Congress addressed pivotal themes shaping the pharmaceutical landscape. Day 1 featured discussions on continuous innovation and agile manufacturing for next-generation therapeutics, moderated by Dr. Mahesh Bhalgat, Group CEO & MD, Veeda Clinical Research Limited. Insights into India’s position as the “Pharmacy of the World” with cost-effective generics and biosimilars were led by Dr. Rhonda Duffy, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, Biocon Biologics. Other sessions focused on the adoption of digital technologies and biosimilars, among other relevant topics.
Day 2 continued with dynamic sessions on sustainability and leadership within the pharma and biopharma sectors.
