Sharp Appoints New Leader to its Global Clinical Services Business

Sharp, a part of UDG Healthcare and a leading provider of pharmaceutical packaging and clinical services, has appointed Robert O’Beirn as SVP and Managing Director of its global Clinical Services business.

Mr O’Beirn joined UDG Healthcare ten years ago as senior legal counsel, later becoming Director of Corporate Development focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions. In early 2019 he joined the Sharp Senior Leadership team, serving as Managing Director of Sharp’s European Commercial Packaging business, as well as heading Strategy and M&A for the division.

Robert brings extensive experience and a broad and unique industry perspective to the Clinical business, which will be essential to the realization of our long-term vision.”

Mr. O’Beirn will continue to serve as the head of Sharp’s European Packaging business, in addition to his new leadership role in Clinical Services.
