Easyfairs continues to grow in packaging sector in Europe. The events organizer is extending its international network with the creation of a new trade show dedicated to the packaging of pharmaceutical and medical devices in Geneva.

Dubbed Connect in Pharma, the show will be dedicated to downstream suppliers, it will focus on driving innovation and business in four key areas: packaging, medical devices, contract manufacturing (CMO/CDMO) and production equipment and processes.

Originally created by MIND Exhibitions, Connect in Pharma will put these suppliers in connection with innovation, R&D, production and procurement teams from businesses across the pharmaceutical and life sciences markets.

“Easyfairs, a global leader in hosting events in 14 countries, announces the latest expansion of its international packaging events network with a new partnership for Connect in Pharma. This new show aims to stimulate innovation in the global packaging, medical device and pharmaceutical production market,” says Jérôme Letu-Montois, Co-Founder of Connect in Pharm.

Easyfairs already organises packaging events in 12 cities across 10 countries, covering every aspect of the packaging supply chain, from design and development through to manufacturing and logistics. According to the company, many of these events already attract an audience in the pharmaceutical market – notably the ADF&PCD and PLD Paris show, which has more than trebled in size since its acquisition by Easyfairs in 2016.

Easyfairs also runs Maghreb Pharma, North Africa’s leading exhibition for the pharmaceutical industry. The Algiers-based event connects the pharmaceutical production technology and formulation supply chain across the region and, as of this year, also hosts new zones dedicated to packaging and cosmetics.

The next edition of Connect in Pharma will be held on June 1st & 2nd at Palexpo in Geneva, Switzerland.
